Australian romantic island getaways

Happy Valentine's Day to you all. Did you send flowers and chocolates usual? Or you is in the dog house for forgetting? A sure way to impress your Valentine is book one of the many Australians romantic island getaways.

Australia has over 8000 islands and as long as you want to visit every one, there is something for everyone Romantic.

If you need a classic island getaway tropical or fantasy of a wonderful trail, or the value of need for money, is that in one of Australia's island getaway.

The most famous and known are probably the Whitsundays. These are totally awesome and well worth the trip expensive. Did you know that has more proposals Hayman Island per square meter than anywhere else in Australia? But perhaps heavily on the tourist route. This article focuses on two islands that offer the romantic traveler and something completely different and away from the usual tourist routes. In fact, is where the locals go.

Magnetic Island, Queensland

Magnetic Island is only 12 km from Townsville in Queensland it is. It is an island favorite with locals as it is one of the islands at a reasonable price in Queensland, especially when compared to the cost of a holiday in the Whitsundays.

This is the place for you if you want to relax on a beach, go swimming, snorkeling or even make a bit of walking. Magnetic Island has its own National Park and do not miss Mount Cook, which protrudes from its center. The bays are a lot and very pretty with some nice walks to enjoy. It is also popular with families because there are plenty of activities to keep children occupied.

There are a lot of water sports also offered sea kayaking and sailing around its many secluded bays. It is also an excellent place to learn to dive in coral and marine life are impressive. Furthermore, water is nice and hot! If water is not for you then try riding at Horseshoe Bay.

The island itself is small enough to drive throughout the year in half a day, but big enough to be one of their few different communities, warehouses, shops and services. The accommodation is reasonable and good quality too.

Seeing the island is also simple. You can take a bus or rent a bicycle. You can rent a car also, but be warned, gasoline is expensive on the island. You can also rent a small car-like mini called a hack that is a good way to see the island.

There are plenty of beaches to choose from here, but they are probably the most beautiful in Florence Bay and Balding Bay. Spend a day in the bathroom Balding Bay Sun and snorkeling. Bring your own food and use of facilities barbie here. Horseshoe Bay has the longest beaches of the island and is a good place to rent kayaks.

Hinchinbrook Island

If you like your holiday to be a little more adventurous and less lying in the sun, then maybe Hinchinbrook Island is one for you. The big attraction here is the path of 32 km Thorsborne. This is a moderately challenging hiking trail that is on the beaches, mangroves and waterfalls.

The track itself is feasible in two days but it is better to take more than this so you can really enjoy the scenery. The route goes from south to north and at the same time can do Travel in any direction, I would start in the south and the north end. That way you can relax at the Wilderness Lodge after the walk, which has a swimming pool and a cozy bar.

The best parts of the walk is probably the section between Ramsay Bay and Bay of Nina, as it follows the coastline and has beautiful rainforests. Zoe Falls are also noteworthy and are particularly impressive.

You can just come here for a day travel and stay in the hostel Wildnerness. If you fancy the walk, then be sure to book well in advance. This was booked and numbers on the island are limited.
