Scuba diving in Curacao?

I am going to Curcao in July and wanted to go scuba diving there, but I have never been scuba diving before. Should I go and learn there from locals or should I get lessons before I leave?

Any restaurant recommendations would be great also.

You can do this couple of different ways. If your local Scuba Shop has training available, and they have a pool on site, or use a very local easy access swimming pool – you can do your classroom and pool training locally. Then get a referral from the Scuba Shop to do do the Open Water portion of the certification in Curacao. They should be able to set you up. From the completion of your Classroom and Pool training, you need to travel to Curacao withing a specified amount of time. When you get to Curacao, you will be able to finish your Open Water in approximately two days.

The second way is to get with a Scuba Diving Operator in Curacao, and go through the whole process there. This is a great way to do this. The only downside is that it will take up most of one week. But it is wonderful in Curacao, warm water, great Ocean , great reefs.

SCUBA Diving – A Great Vacations To Enjoy

There is no any particular season to dive, You can dive any time of the year. But you may need to be prepared to know the local conditions, Because it may be cold. Most these uses dry suits during the winter months, which can keep you warm than a wet suit. So if you want to dive, There are specific courses  that can teaches you safe diving. It’s better to have the fun in safe way. So take a vacation when its warm or tropical, and Enjoy scuba dive.
