how much a scuba diver instructor can make a year?

Where? In the USA or in another country? Part-time or full-time?

I make minimum wage as a part-time instructor (April to September, usually 2 or 3 weekends a month) with some additional benefits such as gear discounts, free air, and an opportunity once a year to travel for free as a group leader. In the USA, a full-time instructor may earn somewhere around $25000 a year. At dive resorts outside the USA, it has been my experience that wages are much less than that and so leaders are more dependent upon tips from clients.

The short answer: not much. Making a living as a dive professional is not easy.
