Question when going on a cruise to the Bahamas?

I’m going on a carnival cruise to the bahamas..freeport and nassau…I’d really like this to be a relaxing vacation (not having to be busy all the time) and for freeport we’ll be there from about 8a.m. to 5p.m. and nassau from 7a.m. to 6a.m….and then the ship…there are lots of things they show to do there ( scuba diving, shopping trips, etc..) but most of these last 5 or more hours…where I kinda just want to lay on the beach..(I’ll only be there 2 days)…if anyone’s ever gone before would you recommed just sitting and relaxing and taking in the view…or is it really worthwild to do activies while your there…thanks!:)

My wife and I went last oct. for our honeymoon. The beaches are great so much fun and relaxing. I would recommend just getting the snorkeling gear that you can rent from the ship. it is cheap and you can see all kinds of great fish, and the best part is you can do it on your own time. As far as the other things the few we did we felt rushed around like they where jsut trying to push us through so they could get the next peoples money. the straw market is nice to go check out if you dont mind people grabbing you trying to sell you stuff. But over all you cant go wrong with the wonderful beaches.

The Big Blue (Director’s Cut)

$29.95

A hit in Europe but a flop in the U.S.–where it was trimmed, rescored, and given a new ending–Luc Besson’s The Big Blue has endured as a minor cult classic for its gorgeous photography (both on land and underwater) and dreamy ambiance. Jean-Marc Barr is a sweet and sensitive but passive presence as Jacques, a diver with a unique connection to the sea. He has the astounding ability to slow hi…
