what to do when you lose your PADI diving license?

i have a PADi open water license. i misplaced it. i lost my log book as well. do you thnk i can still waltz into a scuba shop and dive?
dudes,i called my cert shop, they said contact PADI they suck, men.

do i haveto wait till the replacement arrive? i wanna dive righta way men!

If you lost your certification card, you will have to order a new one from PADI.

In the meantime, any dive professional (divemaster, instructor, dive shop) can look you up in the system online. You will need to provide your full name and date of birth. Once they look it up, they can verify that you are in fact certified and capable of diving. With a photo ID and the information from online, it is almost as good as a certification card.
