Basically all sports diving is limited to 60 feet for all certifications ( NAUI, PADI, etc…) That doesn’t mean you can’t go deeper. If you have been trained to go deeper then you and your buddy maybe at risk if you don’t have some kind of backup support if you run into trouble.

If you decide to do deep diving I suggest you go with a group of experience divers that do this on a regular basis. They can help you with all most any problem that you might encounter.

I know this from many years of experience. More diving hours than most people in their life time.
