Indonesia is considered by some as a diver Garden of Eden. If you are looking for some of the best diving spots, then one of my many recommendations would Sulawesi, home to some of the most varied and incredible diving in the world. To dive in Manado in the Marine National Park Bunaken means being surrounded by marine biodiversity that is the envy of the world – with more varieties of coral everywhere.
A short drive away, the Lembeh Strait – the undisputed king of the muck diving destinations. This little bit of calm water is considered by photographers and hunters to provide creature macro diving the more impressive. Along the black sand floor you will encounter strange and fascinating sea creatures that you could want. Add to that the Sangihe Archipelago and Bangka Island, and you can see why many divers return time and back to Sulawesi, an island that can fulfill all your dreams of diving.
Banda Islands – the Banda Sea can be located between destinations the most famous of Komodo and Raja Ampat, but for those who know it deserves its reputation as one of the regions of the world's best diving. Diving diving in Banda means living an incredible variety of ages. large pelagics and large schools are not lacking. The reefs are healthy and prosperous. Think over what many species of whales and dolphins are often spotted, and you start to get the picture. The diving here is varied, colorful and fascinating as it is in the haven of creature of Ambon and the Banda islands.
How Diving in Indonesia
It depends diving you want to do. I recommend 2 ways: station stays Sulawesi and Bali will allow you the opportunity to base you close to some of the finest Dive into the world.
Alternatively, cruises cruise in Indonesia are still a first choice for those who want to see any land stay based offer. Cruises can take you around the best of North Sulawesi, east of Bali to the legendary island of Komodo, Wakatobi, or inspiring in the border area of the Banda Sea and Irian Jaya. Breathtaking dive boats fantastic and inspiring landscapes await you over here.
Diving Season
You can dive in Indonesia at any time of year. Generally for a country as vast, April to December are the best times to go since the rainy season is more or less between January and March. That said, many places such as Sulawesi, have excellent conditions at this time so please check the details of the diving season for your particular destination. Cruise Season Indonesia safari is all year round.
